Covid Safe Guidelines
Mermaid Swim Academy is excited to welcome students back to the water.
As we begin to re-open our lessons and camps some changes have been put in place to ensure the safety and well being of all our staff and families.
What to expect at Mermaid Swim Academy pool and surf session
Checking In – A MSA supervisor will be on hand to sign your child into the pool/ surf prior to your child’s session. All children will need to be signed in and out. Any child who is not booked in will not be able to attend that session.
Hand Sanitizing – Upon signing in with our MSA Supervisor anyone joining the session will be given hand sanitizer to clean their hands. Hand sanitizer will also be available at the end of each session.
Parental Spectators – To ensure MSA meets Bondi Iceberg guidelines any pool sessions there will be a limit of one spectator per child.
Social Distancing – We ask students and parents to ensure they maintain social distancing and sessions/ lessons maybe adapted to adhere to this policy. To help maintain social distancing we recommend students come to the pool/ surf in their wetsuits and avoid using changing facilities after, you can’t beat a warm shower at home!
Card Only Payments – If your child wishes to join a lesson/ camp payment will need to be made prior to the commencement date of session. The entrance fee to Bondi Icebergs should also try to be a contactless payment.
Limited Equipment Use – To help avoid any potential spreading of Covid-19 we will be limiting the amount of equipment used in each class and santizing any equipment before and after use.
If You Are Feeling Unwell Prior To A Lesson
If your child is unable to attend a session due to illness, please let us know and we can try to reschedule their class. Please note our No Refund Policy still applies.
